Last night, I went to see Fur Dixon perform at Maui Sugar
Mill Saloon in Tarzana, California. (Click here for my review of her set.) But
I also got to hear excellent sets by Black Market Heart, who opened the show,
and The Psyatics, who backed Fur Dixon and then played a short set of their
own. I’m getting old, and was too tired to stick around for the final band of
the night, It’s OK! (though I heard good things about them). This was a night of high energy and great rock music. Here are some
